McGinley shortlisted for three UK Rail Industry Awards

Following a successful year in rail recruitment, McGinley Support Services is pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for three categories at the UK Rail Industry Awards 2017.

The first category, Recruitment Excellence, recognises companies that attract the right people to the industry enabling us to push forward into a new era. It focuses on recruiting and retaining talent while using comprehensive policies and procedures. McGinley has been recognised in this category for three consecutive years and on this occasion we have been acknowledged for our innovative apprenticeships in partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd.

The second award category, Training and Development looks closely at how companies develop staff, ensuring that they have the right skills and attitude to deliver the rail industry of tomorrow. McGinley has been acknowledged in this category for investing £3m on training over a 5 year period, expanding our qualified in-house training division and creating apprenticeships through innovative partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd.

The final award category, Marketing & Communications, looks at how companies within the industry have delivered key messages over the last twelve months. We are extremely pleased that our in house magazine SafetyINRail has been acknowledged in this category. Over the last 12 months SafetyINRail has changed to reflect the business and expanded into a free must-have rail safety publication, increasing safety awareness across the industry.
