Eugene Meehan Managing Director (McGinley Support Services Limited) A BA (Hons) graduate of Queens University, Belfast, Eugene worked in the Financial/Accounting Sector before he joined McGinley in 1987 as a Chief Accountant. He then became Financial Director in 1990 before taking over as Managing Director in 2004. He takes an active role in the continued development of our existing markets and also in identifying and developing opportunities within new markets and sectors. Eugene has continued to take a proactive lead in the development and implementation of all HSQE policies.
Sean McGinley Business Support Director (McGinley Support Services Limited) A former Quantity Surveyor, Sean worked in the building and civil engineering sector for 10 years before joining the company in 1990. After becoming Operations Director in 1992, Sean went on to take the business forward as Managing Director from 1997 to 2004. Now, as Business Support Director, and with an in depth understanding of the business needs for the future, Sean controls a team that provides McGinley companies and senior management with the services they need to be successful. These include: business strategy and planning, financial planning, procurement, marketing and quality management.
Billy McNeill Operations Director (McGinley Support Services Limited) A BA (Hons) graduate from Brunel University, Billy's construction career began in 1996 working part time for a groundwork contractor. During a gap year he moved into the Railway sector in 1998 and quickly progressed to a Supervisory level. After graduating in 2001 Billy Joined VG Clements Contractors as Contracts Manager where, as part of a team, he quadrupled their railway business in less than 2 years. In 2003 Billy joined McGinley Support Services as a Customer Support Manager and has played a major role in developing the business into the wider Infrastructure markets. Billy was promoted to the McGinley Board in April 2009 as Operations Director.
Andrew Selwyn Account Management Director (McGinley Support Services Limited) Andy began his career with a 5 year indentured engineering apprenticeship for the Dowty Group. Completing this in 1986, Andy then returned to full time education gaining his degree in Business Studies and Marketing at Wolverhampton University, graduating with honours in 1991. He has spent the past 16 years in engineering recruitment, of which the last twelve was specialising in the railway industry. Andy joined McGinley Support Services in 2003 and was promoted to the McGinley Board in April 2009 overseeing the development of key clients. Andy is also synonymous with developing and driving through new ground breaking initiatives ensuring that we achieve the key business objectives set by our customers.
Chris Mariner Managing Director (JSB McGinley Systems Limited) Chris commenced his career as a project engineer in the USA working mainly on contracts in civil engineering and the built environment. Six years later he moved to the UK and spent much of the next 12 years consulting and working for key infrastructure clients including LUL, British Rail and Railtrack. During that time Chris graduated with a Masters Degree in Construction Management (MSc with Distinction) at LSBU. In 1998 he took a major shareholding in a large London based civil contractor moving on after 3 years to join the construction manager, Mace Group, as Operations Director, focussing mainly on key transportation projects in the British Isles and Europe. In February 2008, Chris went into partnership with McGinley to create JSB McGinley Systems Limited. Before the merger, Chris had owned and managed JSB Rail Ltd for 5 years. In his current role as Managing Director for JSB McGinley Systems Limited, Chris has overall responsibility for leading the company's business strategy and development.
Matthew Franklin Operations Director (McGinley Infrastructure Services Limited) After initially working for BT, Matt began his career with McGinley Support Services in 1992. Commencing in the construction division in the Bristol office, Matt grasped opportunities to help expand the business progressing to leading and overseeing the development of McGinley's involvement in the Railway market. We are now seen as one of the leading suppliers within the rail industry. Over the last few years Matt has been involved in the creation of a successful Welding & Grinding division along with managing the newly developed minor civil package business 'McGinley Infrastructure Services'. He believes that the key to McGinley's longevity is our flexibility and willingness to evolve and adapt to meet our clients needs in this constantly changing industry.
Hitesh Patel Financial Controller (McGinley Support Services Limited) Hitesh Patel FCCA BA Hons - Financial Controller: Hitesh has worked in the Finance & Business Management sector for 5 years before joining the company in 2000. After joining the Company as Chief Accountant in 2000, Hitesh went on to take the role of Financial Controller in 2009. Now, as Head of Accounts, and with his understanding of Finance, Accounts & Management, he spearheads a team that, as a collective, provide an efficient running of the processes involved in producing Quality Financial Information. These are tools that the Board use to make strategic decisions for the continued success of the company. |
