Safety is our principal priority and our approach to managing safety performance is of a high standard. We have a low staff turnover rate and are committed to investing in training and worker development. This has lead to MIS retaining a committed and competent workforce that is both knowledgeable and highly experienced. We have been associated with and involved in many prestigious projects, including working alongside Amey Colas and Babcock Rail, organising compounds, road closures, removing and re-instating level crossings, fencing, building and drainage works, with each job being managed and supervised to the very highest standards. We have now completed a 400k Civils contract for Geoffrey Osborne for the DDA (Disabled Access Bridges) works at Fratton and Fareham Stations in Portsmouth. The work undertaken was excavation on both outer and Island platforms, all Rebar works (14Ton), all shuttering and concrete finishing (300 cubic metres) using concrete pumps in difficult conditions under possessions, retaining walls in faced brick, all block work and brickwork to Lift shafts (320 sqm) and all tactile paviours and paving to all platforms (1200Lm). We have also completed our 3rd major drainage works contract for Amey Colas, installing both 6ft and 4ft drainage with all correct falls and catch pit inlet and outlets. All our level crossing works are ongoing, including road profiles and all whitelines. All our road closures are ongoing with Babcock Rail and Network Rail. All diversion routes are planned, all paperwork and notices are submitted to Councils and all diversions installed with Chapter 8 qualified staff. We have also recently set up contracts with Holdfast in both Italy and Egypt.
