McGinley Support Services is looking for experienced Electricians to join the HS2 project (BBV section) in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, offering competitive pay and consistent hours.
Location: Birmingham (HS2 - BBV Project)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing, long-term opportunity
Rate: £24.03 per hour (PAYE Direct)
Overtime: £31.95 per hour (after 10 hours daily)
Digs/Lodge Allowance: £50.65 per day available
As a JIB Gold Electrician, you'll be working on a major section of HS2, carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection tasks in line with site standards and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing electrical systems and containment for construction and infrastructure works
Conducting routine inspections and testing
Ensuring all electrical work meets BS7671 wiring regulations
Working safely and efficiently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Gold JIB Card - essential
Full UK Driving Licence - essential
Proven experience as an Electrician on civil engineering or large-scale construction projects
Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
Excellent pay and overtime rates
Lodge allowance for non-local workers
Consistent long-term work on HS2
