McGinley Support Services is looking for experienced SSPTS Advanced Scaffolders to join the HS2 Project in Birmingham (B46 1TG). This is an outstanding long-term opportunity for skilled scaffolders to work on one of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure projects.
Location: Birmingham, B46 1TG (HS2 Project)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing - long-term work available
Rate: £26.17 per hour (PAYE Direct)
Overtime: £34.81 per hour (after 10 hours daily)
Lodge Allowance: £50.65 per day (for non-local workers)
As an SSPTS Advanced Scaffolder, you will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on an active HS2 construction site. You will be working with PERI UP and Rosette systems, ensuring all scaffolding is built to specification and meets site safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Erecting and dismantling scaffold structures safely and efficiently
Working with PERI UP and Rosette Scaffolding systems
Conducting safety checks and inspections
Supporting site teams in complex infrastructure operations
Ensuring compliance with site HSE procedures
Valid CISRS Advanced Scaffolder Card - essential
SSPTS - PERI UP certification - essential
Experience working with Rosette Scaffolding
Full UK Driving Licence
Proven track record working as an Advanced Scaffolder on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Excellent pay and overtime rates
Long-term work on the HS2 Project
Lodge allowance for non-local operatives
