McGinley are looking for a professional and well-spoken Gateman / Site Access Controller to manage entry to the site, greet workers and senior staff, and ensure site safety procedures are followed. This role is key to maintaining a positive and organised working environment, requiring excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control site access, checking IDs and authorisations for workers and visitors.
  • Greet and assist workers, clients, and senior staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Maintain a visitor log and ensure everyone signs in and out properly.
  • Direct deliveries and subcontractors, ensuring smooth site operations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries, directions, and general site information.

Requirements:

  • CSCS Green Card (Essential)
  • Safety Critical Medical (Essential)
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Ability to interact confidently with workers, clients, and senior staff.
  • Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.
  • Awareness of health & safety regulations on construction sites.
