McGinley are seeking experienced and reliable Groundworkers to join a dedicated trial hole gang for an exciting construction project. The role involves digging and preparing trial holes for site investigations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for hardworking individuals to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Start Date: 13/01/2025

Duration: 2-3 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dig and prepare trial holes for site investigations.
  • Adhere to project specifications and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
  • Assist with backfilling and site restoration after investigations.
  • Operate small tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Work as part of a team to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Groundworker, ideally within trial hole or site investigation projects.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in construction.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a physically demanding role.
  • CSCS card is essential.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., confined space, street works) are advantageous.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
