The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter with crane experience to join our team. This role involves maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy plant machinery

Paid as PAYE direct - Days £30.85, Nights £41.03, Weekends £46.27 an hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine service, maintenance, and repairs on heavy plant machinery and cranes

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

• Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety and operational standards

• Respond to breakdowns on-site or in the workshop

• Maintain detailed service and repair records

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a heavy plant fitter, with a strong background in crane maintenance (essential)

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence

• CSCS card
