Our client has been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 225km section of the new high speed rail link between Euston and Birmingham, and we are proud to supply Steel Fixer Chargehand, among many other skilled trades and labour across multiple sites and projects.

Presently, the scope of works include viaducts, shafts, tunnelling, road diversions, overbridges and over 100 million cubic metres of excavation, over the course of the next 2-4 years. We have a lot of work ahead of us… are you the Steel Fixer Chargehand we are looking for?

Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30-17:30
Pay rate: £21.80per hour. Weekend Rate £32.70
Successful applicants will need:
* SSSTS or SMSTS including Supervisor Experience
* CSCS Card for Steel Fixing
* Familiarity and experience with site operation and the techniques of Steel Fixing
* Experience of installing, bending and erecting rebar, experience at selecting correct steel specifications. Competent at selecting materials for a task and inspecting their suitability.
* Able to read, interpret and work from drawings and schedules
* Proven previous experience working as a Steel Fixer on a large civils site
