
Role Summary:
This role places suitable candidates in jobs to meet customer requirements, generating revenue
in line with corporate and personal goals. To achieve this, the role develops and manages
customer and candidate relationships, manages an ongoing workforce and deploys support
services when needed.

This role is at the core of the revenue and profit generating activities of the business. The
Recruitment Consultant creates the connections between candidate and customer that generate
revenue and effective Recruitment Consultants can have a positive impact on company
profitability and corresponding personal salary and bonus levels.
Main Responsibilities:
Place suitable candidates in jobs to meet customer requirements, achieving revenue in line with corporate and personal goals.
The company will make you aware of its market sectors and target list of companies
Proactively and consistently strive to identify and obtain new business opportunities
Identify potential customers
Develop and manage potential customer relationships
Identify, progress and convert sales leads
Negotiate and agree rates and other terms and conditions
Secure written agreement to terms and conditions
Obtain suitable vacancies/jobs or service orders to supply defined roles
Ensure all resourcing and recruitment is undertaken in line with legislation, company policies, procedures and work instructions.
Identify and attract (resource) candidates using all appropriate channels to satisfy customer requirements
Monitor responses/applications received and process candidate's applications
Shortlist and present suitably qualified applicants against defined vacancies/jobs
Manage the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the customer,
candidate and internal teams
Place suitable candidates with customers
Ensure all necessary onboarding, administration, payroll and billing tasks are undertaken in line with company policies, procedures and work instructions.
Make repeat placements of existing workers to satisfy recurring vacancies/jobs and minimise workforce turnover
Collaborate with your colleagues as appropriate
Take part in forecasting exercises to help predict your future placement numbers and
revenue streams
Meet or exceed agreed targets
Develop and manage customer and candidate relationships:
Ensure that customers and candidates receive a comprehensive recruitment service and are
treated appropriately, consistent with our values, programmes, policies and procedures.
Record and maintain accurate data on your customers and candidates along with your
relevant communications with them.
Develop a knowledge of market rates and conditions within your workforce skill-set in order to consult with customers and candidates on pay and charge.
Have regular conversations using a variety of channels, maintaining an awareness of our
customer's challenges and the needs of our candidates.
Develop and communicate potential solutions with customers and candidates
Ask for and provide feedback conducting regular service reviews with both customers and
candidates to ensure continuous improvement of our service.
Build strong and lasting business relationships

Seek support and escalate workforce issues when required
Support Services:
The company provides support services with its workforce such as transport, training, PPE,
accommodation, medicals, drug and alcohol tests, communications devices, small tools,
materials, plant, consumables and competency accessories.
This role must ensure that all support services required in conjunction with vacancies/jobs are purchased or hired and deployed in line with company policies, procedures and work instructions, utilising central functional support teams as necessary.
