We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Bulk Port Operative. As part of a busy stevedore operation, you'll play a key role in the movement of cargo on and off ships at the docks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the movement of cargo (including steel stock, bulk ships, and animal feed) on and off vessels at Liverpool docks.
• Follow clear safety and quality standards to ensure the safe and efficient handling of cargo.
• Participate in "on the job" training with experienced operatives, as well as classroom sessions to further your skills.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe working environment.
• Potential for career development with additional training for more skilled roles and plant operation.

• Deck Port Operative
• Hopper Port Operative

The Successful Candidate:

• Will be flexible to work across both day and night shifts, depending on vessel schedules.
• A committed and reliable team player with a focus on safety.
• Excellent timekeeping and work ethic.
• Previous experience as a Port Operative, Warehouse Operative, Labourer, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential.
• Opportunity for refresher courses for those with existing or expired plant licenses.
