Highways Engineers required to join busy public authority team on contract for initial 6 months based in Winchester. This role can be full-time or part-time.
You will be responsible for reviewing Section 38 and Section 278 submissions, liaising with developers and internal stakeholders to ensure design assurance and compatibility to relevant standards. This role will also be overseeing works to ensure records are maintained to ensure works are completed to necessary standards for adoption to public highway network.
Successful candidate will relevant highways engineering background, with design assurance experience and ability to make minor design adjustments. Good communication and presentation skills are required to represent public authority in public meetings. Full driving licence required for site visits, and excellent written skills for ensuring files are maintained throughout process.
This role's IR35 status will be determined on offer.
