Procurement Manager/Senior Buyer required for initial 6 month contract with a major rail organisation. This role is primarily working from home, with some occasional visits to either York or London.
Working primarily on construction projects, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for working in public contracts regulation (PCR) and utilities contracts regulation (UCR) environment to ensure consistent end to end management of the procurement process. This will include data collection, negotiation, contract award, contract and supplier relationship management.
Successful candidate will have demonstrable procurement management experience of at least 5 years, ideally with PCR and UCR experience. Experience of working in rail or construction/civil engineering sectors would be ideal.
This role has been determined inside IR35 for Limited Company contractors.
