Project Manager / Chartered Surveyor
Up to £550.00/day ltd (Inside IR35)
6 Month + Contract
We are looking for a Project Manager / Chartered Surveyor to join our rail client based in London. The role will Support the delivering of the endorsed strategy for our client's land bank, minimising expenditure through partnering with developer/investors to create modern stations that meet the needs of the travelling public and generate substantial station improvements and/or revenue opportunities for our client.
*Fully support the creation of delivery vehicles to ensure our client captures a greater proportion of value from developments on and around its land bank.
*Support in the management of the development partner selection process, with the objective of identifying the most commercially viable approach to deliver the objectives of the land bank strategy.
*Progress the completion of land acquisitions necessary to achieve business objectives.
*Undertake discussions and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders relating to development schemes and through these, facilitate the successful completion of network and station change and closure applications.
*Interface with Government and Corporate Affairs regarding internal and external communications requirements for complex development schemes.
*Manage and monitor the master planning process for complex development schemes involving internal stakeholders and external advisors including working with development partners to progress schemes through the planning process.
*Instruct legal advisors to prepare relevant documents required for complex developments including contracts, lease agreements, and development leases.
*Co-ordinate and monitor development scheme activities and provide reports as required.
*Educated to degree level or equivalent
*Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent
*Leadership and influencing skills
