Project Sponsor required for management of sponsorship of early phases of mega rail project, managing interface between rail asset manager and project team. Role is initially for 9 months, can be remote based with occasional visits to major project hubs in London and Birmingham.
Duties are wide, primarily acting as the initial point of contact between asset manager and project team, ensuring relationships are developed effectively, project remits are elicited and understood, working to help internal stakeholders ensure that rail use can be maintained BAU throughout the early project phases.
Successful candidate will have project sponsorship or project leadership experience for major rail organisations working on major rail projects. Good communication and organisation skills are a must as well as knowledge of corporate governance, GRIP process and commercial understanding.
This role has been determined inside IR35.
