If you are aged 19-24 and a lack of work experience is holding you back, then an Intertrain traineeship programme could be for you!
Our rail traineeship programme will prepare you for employment within the rail industry with the potential to progress into a rail apprenticeship / employment.
As an Intertrain traineeship learner you will get:
* Level 1 NVQ in Basic Track Maintenance
* Personal Track Safety (PTS), DCCR, Track Induction (TIC)
* Basic track Awareness and training for London Underground
* A rail work placement of 70 hours or more with McGinley Support Services, a leading rail industry employer
* A job interview or feedback from McGinley Support Services
McGinley Support Services is one of the leading rail providers in the UK and with the new awards from Network Rail, this is an exciting time to join the rail industry. There are positions available across London and the South but you must be able to get to Enfield for the classroom based training. Driving Licence and own transport an advantage but not essential.
Future prospects include:
* Employment in the rail industry including TfL
* Progress onto a Level 2/3 Rail Engineering apprenticeship
