Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Safe Isolation Level 3 Electrician with experience working on low voltage (LV) systems within the London Underground infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe isolation and maintenance of LV electrical systems, following strict safety protocols. The role requires BTA (Basic Track Awareness) and PWT-EH (Protection Workers on Track - Engineering Hours). This work will be Sunday - Thursday nights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform safe isolation of LV electrical systems in accordance with Safe Isolation Level 3 protocols.
  • Install, maintain, and repair LV electrical systems in compliance with London Underground standards.
  • Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and diagnostics on LV systems within the underground network.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and contractors, ensuring coordination during maintenance and project work.
  • Adhere to safety protocols related to BTA and PWT-EH, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of all isolation procedures, testing, and maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with all London Underground safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Safe Isolation Level 3 certification (essential).
  • BTA (Basic Track Awareness) certification (essential).
  • PWT-EH (Protecting Workers on Track-Engineering Hours) certification (essential).
  • Proven experience working on LV systems within London Underground infrastructure (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation, isolation, and maintenance procedures specific to LV systems.
  • Ability to conduct electrical fault finding and diagnostics effectively.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends. (Sunday - Thursday)
