About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled MMA Welder with experience in steel structures and overhead welding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel components to high industry standards, ensuring strong and durable structural integrity.

This will be an ongoing PAYE contract. Hourly rate is £27.12 plus £3.67 holiday pay for each hour worked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MMA welding on steel structures, including overhead welding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Use grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
• Conduct quality checks on completed welds.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Welding and Grinding (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in MMA welding, especially on steel structures and overhead welding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a welding environment.
