MCGINLEY SHOWS THEIR SUPPORT BY SPONSORING THE BRITISH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AWARDS 2017

McGinley is proud to support the construction industry by sponsoring the Civil Engineering Project of the Year (£10m to £50m) category at the 30th British Construction Industry Awards.

The British Construction Industry Awards seek to recognise and reward excellence in project delivery. Every year the calibre of the winning projects do just that, and in the process leave you in no doubt whatsoever that the British construction industry is an industry that excels.

Before the awards, site visits will take place to all shortlisted projects as well as face-to-face judging by members of the 33-strong jury, made up of the most influential clients, contractors, architects and engineers in the UK.

Judges include:

• Chris Dulake, director, Mott MacDonald

• Steve Fox, chief executive, BAM Nuttall

• Andy Mitchell, chief executive, Tideway

• John Turzynski, director, Arup

New Civil Engineer’s editor Mark Hansford commented:

“This year’s contenders really demonstrate the depth and breadth of excellence in the British construction industry. The judges can’t wait to get out across the country and see the impact these projects are having on their communities and we really look forward to recognising our winners at the awards dinner in October.”

The winners will be announced on 11 October 2017 at a glamorous ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where over 1,100 of the industry’s elite will join together for a night of entertainment, celebration and networking.
