Training

Asset.McGinley, our in house training division is rated as ‘Outstanding’ by NSAR in all categories and provides a wide range of courses to suit all skill sets.

When you hire staff or operatives from us, our approach fulfils your current demand and seeks to tackle any of your possible future skills gaps and shortages. With apprenticeships, NVQ2 development, mentoring schemes and leadership programmes in place, Asset.McGinley helps ensure that we can introduce the facilitating skills that you need to maintain productivity. We also run an extensive programme of competency assessment to ensure that your hired staff and operatives work continuously within a robust competency management system.

If you are not hiring but still require a training and development service, then we’ll tailor a package for you. Our clients face skill shortages across all growth areas of infrastructure and pressure is mounting for structured solutions to training and development. There is a need to deliver better trained people to you faster to help minimise your skills shortages, coupled with bringing the necessary cultural changes to develop overlapping skilled resource, creating a multi-skilled workforce.

Asset.McGinley will listen to your needs, and develop programmes to take advantage of transferable civil engineering skills in different infrastructure segments, including rail, metro, roads, water, energy, airports, ports, waste and telecoms.

Our objectives are to improve safety, maximise operational efficiency and improve knowledge to create a more productive and qualified workforce.

Training & development services can be built around the following;

  • Wide range of Sentinel safety critical courses
  • Both initial training and re-certification
  • Non Sentinel small tools training
  • Competency management through assessments

Rates can be agreed on a single delegate basis or trainers can be supplied on a daily rate. If you prefer we can work with you to create a bespoke commercial arrangement with volume commitments and a structured programme.
