Do you have experience working as an Architectural Technician? Or are you a graduate with previous experience as a Architects Assistant?

Maybe you're based in the Bedfordshire area, and looking to work locally instead of the nightmare commute in and out of London?

Either way, we have a great opportunity to work client side for a buoyant and progressive local authority in the Bedfordshire area, working on developing their existing varied portfolio, and sole responsibility for individual projects valued up to £1million.

Working solely in the Bedfordshire area, you will be responsible for preparing designs and specifications, by coordinating and incorporating design information from architects and other building professionals to produce designs that meet the needs of the client and are value for money. This will be established by assisting the Architect to provide quality assurance for a range of new construction projects, and delivering the day to day CAD drawing requirements.

This is an excellent place to work, based in the catchment area of Bedfordshire with excellent pension and holiday options and the ability for some flexible working.

You will require a driving licence and transport to get to projects. The key thing for this role is to have some experience of architectural assistance, including production of drawings using computer-aided design and traditional methods, and essential experience in AutoCAD with excellent ability.

If you have a relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or part Architectural Degree, this would be desirable, but it would be essential to have a degree or construction industry equivalent qualification.
