Assistant Project Manager Highways
Your role as assistant project manager will be implemented with strong progression opportunities within the Group. Training and guidance will be provided as you settle into our various divisions within the Rail, Highways and Civil sectors.
The assistant project manager role will integrate with the account, logistic and operation teams to provide administrative support to the project lead while also gaining vital experience on site and eventually through meetings with our clients.
Key among a project manager's duties is the recognition that risk directly impacts the likelihood of success and that this risk must be both formally and informally measured throughout the lifetime of a project.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role will lend assistance to encompass many activities including:
*Planning and Defining Scope
*Activity Planning and Sequencing
*Developing a Budget
*Creating Charts and Schedules
*Managing Risks and Issues
*Monitoring and Reporting Progress
*Working with Vendors
*Scalability, Interoperability and Portability Analysis
Education & certification
NVQ Level 3 or above (arboriculture/management)
LISS/CSCS Arb Gold (Arborist Supervisor) or Black Card (arborist Manager)
Preferred Software experience
Microsoft Projects and Primavera P6
