A Chartered Design Engineer is required for District Heating schemes for major Power Station organisation, based out of Nottinghamshire, with occasional site visits. This is an initial 6 month contract.
You will be responsible for RIBA design stages 2-4 of mechanical design elements for all aspects of district heat network systems (major plants, boilers, heat pumps, CHP engines etc.). You will be responsible for supporting design activity and elements for tender bids, and relevant design solutions are identified and optimised.
This role will also incorporate some level of stakeholder liaison, interpreting requirements and project management so some experience and comfortability with these aspects of the role, will be required.
Successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of District Heating schemes, and ideally Chartered Engineer, with BIM and 3D modelling experience, drafting of technical documentation skills and knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
