We have a contract opportunity for an established generalist HR Consultant/Business Partner to come in and support a major energy organisation, based in Solihull area. This is an initial 3 month contract with potential to be extended on rolling basis. This role may require occasional travel to Nottingham.
The role will be generalist based supporting key areas of the business, dealing with functional leaders based in Germany. This will cover all project based areas of HR including (but not limited to) rewards, talent management, updated legislation, EDI and trade union interaction. This role will be required to offer HR advice on organisational change and employee lifecycle, and will be a key part of the relationship between central HR teams and business leaders.
Successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with excellent up-to-date HR generalist knowledge. This will require a strong character with ability to challenge stakeholders and be resilient to leaders who may have different perspectives on HR processes. More project based HR experience would be required, ideally in a trade union environment. A German speaker would be advantageous but not necessary.
