Are you a Planning Manger in construction or infrastructure, interested in working on a portfolio of highways improvement projects valuing of up to £450 million?

If so, our highways client is keen to bring to in a Planning Manager to help develop their Network Planning Division's team in Bristol. The Division will develop and maintain the strategic vision, lead and commission a series of strategic studies and route strategies, report on economic growth and spatial planning, sponsor major schemes and manage the response to major UK infrastructure projects.

You will provide strategic direction for the company by ensuring the effective development and delivery of key projects and bids for the next 5 years of government funding; and studies to develop a strategy for the Strategic Road Network (SRN), inform and optimise network investment decisions, protect the integrity of the SRN and enable an effective investment plan for future Road Investment Strategy (RIS) periods, ensuring the best use of resources and compliance with statutory requirements.

Most of all, you will be excited for the opportunity to get on-board early on a huge investment period of highways improvements in the region, with funding secured for years to come, and help build a 'best in sector' commercial team for this organisation.
