We are currently looking for a Project Management Assistant for a position in York for a well known and prestigious infrastructure company for an initial 6 month contract. If successful, you will demonstrate knowledge of supporting the Works Delivery Manager and teams and assisting in the development of work plans. Similarly you would have experience in the management and coordination of projects, worksites and resources and knowledge of operational railway environment.
As a Project Management Assistant you would be assisting in reviewing remits and specifications for deliverability and supporting the delivery of maintenance and project work to standards. Likewise supporting an agreed programme of staff surveillance, work quality checks and asset condition checks and assisting in the identification of and implementation of safety, asset performance, reliability, and productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Ideally you would have an understanding of Civil Engineering and building construction with previous experience of assisting managers in this industry.
