A Project Manager with expertise in geotechnical and drainage works in rail civils infrastructure required for initial 12 month contract for major rail organisation. This role is based in Glasgow, but can be worked remotely with occasional visits to project offices.
This role will focus on increased output for works delivery teams with a focus on earthworks, drainage and geotechnical improvements and proactive intervention projects. You will be accountable for low complexity projects and part of larger, more complex projects, managing multi-disciplinary team, key stakeholders, project reporting and health and safety requirements plus other associated tasks.
Successful candidate will have experience of project managing rail enhancement and improvement projects with a drainage and geotechnical slant, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ideally membership of a relevant engineering body (ICE etc.). A valid PTS would be required for this role but can be obtained or refreshed if lapsed.
This role has been determined inside IR35.
