We are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a team that have been preparing some large business cases which need high level reviews of. This is in preparation of the business cases being submitted to the relevant Government Department's. Predominately the work in which you would be estimating/reviewing will be Signalling/Track related however is not limited to this.
This position will be based in Singlewell on an initial 6 month contract for a well known and prestigious infrastructure company.
In this Senior Commercial Manager position you will be responsible for producing accurate and comprehensive estimates in a timely and efficient manner and assessing information from a variety of sources in order to prepare accurate estimates. You will develop and promote estimating good practice and all estimates should be produced in accordance with the requirements of the GRIP procedures and processes.
A successful Senior Commercial Manager would need a strong background of estimating and QS services and an understanding of project management, planning, risk and investment processes; and essential Rail experience desirably with Network Rail and an understanding of their contracts.
