An opportunity has come available for a Town Planning Manager to work on a permanent basis on a mega infrastructure project, that is going to shape the nation over the coming decades. Based out of Birmingham, you will be responsible for town planning activities in a geographical area where this project will affect.
You will be engaging with local authorities, dealing with contractors for consents package preparations, with key internal stakeholders for preparation of necessary parliamentary approvals, contributing to the project master plan plus other associated duties.
This will be a role that would require previous town planning experience, ideally coupled with infrastructure project experience. A degree in a relevant subject or similar with membership of RTPI or similar professional organisation.
Knowledge of relevant parliamentary acts, DCOs, IPC in public or private sector, coupled with excellent communication, organisational and negotiating skills.
