Workforce support
We buy transport, fuel, equipment, consumables, goods & materials, accommodation, training, communications, welfare services, advertising and other support services for our workforce, so we need a strong and reliable supply chain.
Response time
Our business is fast moving, so we also need fast response form our suppliers and good back up strategies for when things don’t go to plan.
Local Presence
We have contracts where it’s important to us to buy local. You don’t have to match our national footprint, a strong regional supply network will work.
Ethics
We want like minded suppliers. If you have strong policies to tackle Modern Slavery, EDI, Bribery and the Living Wage then we want to hear from you.
Volume
Over the last year we’ve bought a million litres of fuel, thousands of hotel stays and over a thousand training courses. Repeat business is available for suitable suppliers.
Approval
We’ll ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire and, for some categories, we will audit you. Once approved you can accept purchase orders from nominated staff.
SMEs
Many of our suppliers are SMEs, we welcome that and we can work with the right suppliers to help you reach our standards to commence trading.
EDI

Product sourcing
To get approved you need to know where your products come from! It’s important to be able to map imported goods back to their source.
