McGinley Support Services awarded the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award

McGinley Support Services is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the  Silver Award for the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme for our work on our Military Resettlement Programme and partnership with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP).

McGinley recognises the vital role of Britain’s Armed Forces and the valuable contribution that members of the Reserve Forces make to Britain’s defence, their communities and their civilian workplace.

Moving into civilian life once this role is complete can be challenging, without thinking about your next career move, which is why we’re here to provide Ex-Armed Forces with advice, guidance and support to ease into the new working life.

We actively promote being armed forces-friendly and employ reservists, cadets or military spouses/partners; at the current time, we have ex-armed forces working at McGinley Support Services in support function roles.

Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)

The Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme is awarded to employers who pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community and inspire other businesses to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards.

Having achieved Bronze status in 2018, Dermot McGinley, Managing Director is delighted with this recent Silver award.

“It’s fantastic to hear that we have been recognised for our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces over the last seven years. By achieving this silver award we pledge to maintain and further develop our commitment in providing our armed forces and their community with the support they deserve.”
